It is always a difficult moment when people ask you "Do you know any spells for X Y Z".

Its obvious they are really asking "Can you do a spell for me for X Y Z" or "Can You give me some sort of magickal spell I can do for X Y Z".


What do you do?
Do you try to accommodate them?
Do you try to educate them that Magick spells are the domain of Magick users and trifling by amateurs is usually wasted effort.
Do you take a middle road and try to educate them about personal responsibility but also give them a taste that just might serve them in their quest.

I was presented with this issue today when a "board friend" on another site asked me if I knew any spells for getting a job.

Now as it turns out "Job Magick" is a specialty :laugh:
so took that middle road.

But here is the reality, you have to believe in Magick and you need to do it for yourself.

When you are going to an interview for a job that you REALLY want, go to the building very early in the morning, before any of them arrive. Strew bits of your hair across the threshold where the interviewers will walk as they enter. As you do this concentrate on the thought that they will not be able to forget you, that they will be obsessed with you, that it doesn't matter what you say or what they say all they will know is that they want you to the exclusion of all others. be sure that you want the job BTW.

I use hair that I clean out of my electric razor. It is already in a pulverised state, but you can harvest it from a comb or brush or whatever.

Obtain some "vervain herb" and the night before an interview drip some white candle wax - or better yet raw beeswax on a piece of paper.
mix in some ground up vervain. As you do this once again keep in mind the thought that you are irresistable, that you are unforgettable, that you are a desireable candiate to the exclusion of all others. make a few small balls of the wax with the herb in it. drop one near the door if there is more than one door drop one at each door. If your interviewer has a potted plant in their office drop one in the pot and push it under the soil if you can do so without being detected. if there is no plant - try to stick it to the underside of their desk. this is why beeswax is best because it has superior sticking properties.

but the real magic is in believing that you ARE the best candidate, that you are irresistable that you are the one for the job.
