The Late Gwydion Pendderwen performed a rare live concert at the 1980 Pan Pagan Festival held in Hammond Indiana.

I recorded that event with Gwydions permission and believe that my tape of it is one of the few which was made.

I am in process of digitizing it and trying to clean it up as best i can.

here is a taste.

I bought V2.1.1

the tape is 28 years old and was done under way less than optimal conditions.

I just re-digitised it as a whole set rather than individual cuts.
This should provide me with a few good spots to use soundsoaps "learn noise" feature.

I found another tape of the concert and I believe it is the original - it seems a bit cleaner.

The other tape I captured as mp3 is likely a copy.

I'll try to get this project finished up this weekend.

I have a great deal to say about my friendship and experiences with Gwydion.

I promise you all that there will be thrills galore and many suprises.

Is this the same tape with "Pan's Block Party" on it?
I'm searching for that tape. I used to have it but someone borrowed it and now I'm crying...

Wow - Just WOW.
on the original tape there was also a recording of a performance of a lost piece of Gwydions work.
Circa 1980's, in association with the Curch Of All Worlds he published a booklet titled "the Rites Of Summer".
He also performed the piece along with some other festival participants at that Pan Pagan 1980 event.

I have put that performance up in the MP3 player.

I hope you enjoy listening to it.

here is the "Trees of Annywn" cut from that performance.

the number of people listening to that HUGE Gwydion piece is causing occasional disruption of services

I'm seeing memory overflow errors on most pages currently, so I'd be inclined to agree with that assessment.

Fortunately, they tend to go away when I reload the page.
