I think we are ready.
In a phone conversation last night with T he predicted this exact response.
We will be picking the car up around 9:30 AM and I believe the plan is to swing through Bath and Uffington on the way out west. I purposely reserved a car with automatic transmission because we don't want to have to be struggling with learning to shift with the "other" arm at the same time as getting aclimated to driving on the "other" side of the road.
We've also reserved a GPS unit to assist in getting to each destination, and my hope is that the vehicle will have an ipod hookup, my new 160 GB ipod has about 45 GB of music on board at this point.
I looked up the duty free shop at Heathrow and it appears that its not for arriving passengers - just departing ones. I guess I'll have to see what I can do at our plane change in newark. Otherwise I'll be giving the local bottle shops all my business?
We've already been warned that You gals are expecting to drink us under the table. I'll just have to give you fair warning that I have the constitution and capacity of a bull elephant!
