Musings on our Arte - 2008 1 Year ago Karma: 7
The Crooked Path is mandated by the Science of Chaos.

There is no such thing as a straight line, it is a fantasy which prevails amongst the men of clay in order to prevent them from following the path of light.

Whenever you THINK you are on a "Olde Straight Track" you have forgotten that the Triad of Fate Time and Circumstance conspire to masquerade in a way that prevents you from observing that you exist on a shifting platform thus creating an illusion of stability beneath the ever shifting reality only understood by those with access to the mystic realm.

The point of realization where this paradox collapses the state vector of your consensus reality creates a sacred well that taps into the stream of consciousness running beneath the terrestrial surface, otherwise known as the underworld.

If you dare sup from that which wells up then thrice blessed are thou and from thenceforth shall thy blood become infused with the character of all those who have gone before within the current. Thou shall be called to the Grand Sabbat, and there shall thou dance in ecstasy until thy soul be satiated with the Serpent fire.

Be thou Wise, Fare forth upon the path when the entrance is presented to you. It may not come to you a second time, fail not.

Just in case anyone was wondering, this blog entry and forum posting was transmitted verbatim to me. I typed it as best as my ability could handle, but I am just the vehicle through which this transmission was carried.

I DO understand it (I Think) and am willing and able to converse regarding its meaning. Hopefully some of you will chose to inquire.

Time and circumstance create fate. Yes, a triad, but created at a cross. The weaving is the shifting circumstance. The well begins the return.

Thank you foryour contribution. I have observed your contributions elsewhere and found them to be quiteinteresting. If I may I would like to inquire for deeper analysis.

Regarding the triple Crossroad, would this be akin to the crossroad of "Zoa" as described in the Azoetia in the "preparatory Evocation and Synopsis of the Sabbatic Rite" [page 24 Sethos Edition]?
At the Meeting-place of the Three, by the Full Moon's light,
O' Serpent Zoa, Great Sigil of all Living.

or like the "IAR Rune" of the Anglo Saxon Rune Set.

or perhaps something entirely different and requiring a three or four dimensional view.

My personal take on it is more like the description of the "Light Cone" as described in "Special Relativity".

I realize that many on the path do not care for attempts to use current science jargon to describe the mystic realm and use this diagram simply as the closest I have found to how it all "feels" to me. That point of present observation represents what I see as our individual paths (of shifting circumstance).

Your statement "The well begins the return" is what truly fascinated me though.
IE:

*) Our return to ... ?
*) The return of ... to ?
*) Something entirely other ?

Owen, some months back you made a declaration regarding rivers and wells (at one of the VU discussions); I don't have my notes from that at hand, perhaps you remember it. It seems particularly germaine to your original post on this topic, however.

This first rune looks exactly like the sigil found in Edredd Thorsons "Futhark: a manual of rune magic" book used to invoke protection from Thor at each of the 4 quarters and also above and below in the ritual circle.
The second rune is interesting as if you join the edges with straight lines it contains almost every rune of the elder futhark. Jan fries suggests (in Helrunar)that this rune can be associated with a snowflake and suggests ways of using body stances of this rune to "establish a six rayed star" which i found interesting

Your words move me, Owen. The triplicity of time, fate and circumstance seem to be a summation of our surface life with our personality that interacts with the world. That which remains ever unchanging is what I term the Watcher from underneath the personality. I find it an intriguing notion of considering this Watcher with the Underworld.

Thanks for this post. Very provoking.

Which makes sense, since it looks very similar to the pedants of Thor's Hammer found in various places.
